Early Childhood Education for Black Boys

Service Description

As early childhood educators, we often think we are unaffected by bias in our programs. After all, we love all children and we want them to reach their highest potential. Unfortunately, no one is immune to implicit bias but new attitudes can be adopted to create less biased environments for young black boys to safely grow and learn. This 6 part course will guide early childhood educators in ways they can learn to acknowledge their privilege, understand the bias that has shaped their lives, and unlearn behavior that might be putting black boys at a disadvantage.
